Christmas jumper day for local food bank

Christmas Jumper Day arrived at Fidelity HQ

Yesterday we held our annual Christmas Jumper Day and everyone put so much effort in. It was a bight and glittery day in this corner of Hull.

We had colourful jumpers, beard baubles, festive tights, glittery leggings, ‘jingley’ hats – you name it, someone was wearing it.

Every year we hold a Christmas Jumper Day in the office. Normally we all donate some money to a local charity. However, this year, our new Sales Exec, Jodie, suggested we all bring in donations for our local food bank here in Kingston Upon Hull.  So, that’s exactly what we did, and we were blown away by how much we have collectively collected.

Christmas can be a tricky time for some. Donating to your local food bank can make an instant difference to someone’s life not far from you. And it’s such a tangible difference. The items you give will be used by the people who need them.

We were able to gather together bags and bags of food that were either surplus to our own needs or we bought especially to donate. There were cupboard staples through to seasonal treats like mince pies.

We’ll be handing over all our donations to John, who runs the East Hull Food Bank, later today.

Thanks to everyone in Team Fidelity!!! Great job all!
